Who saw him having more goals than assists? I wonder if his "encore" will be different.

Agreed. It's plausible that the '14-15 first line of moulson-girgs-Ennis will be our 3rd line

If that line has the same production as last season. We can do better.

I see Samson scoring around the same number of goals this year and adding about 10 assists to his points total.

I am pumped about Reinhart. Being a B.C. boy, I have to support him. Just got my #23 Reinhart Sabres jersey. Love his attitude, selfishness and hockey IQ. As Michael points out, he is subtle but he is definitely a keeper.

I meant it more as an indicator of top-end depth, but I bet all three have a bounce back year. Hell, they couldn't be much worse

With Ennis apparently slated for the second line, who would you stick in Ennis's spot, assuming no trades?

I'm hoping for nylander, but foligno with Sam and eichel could add toughness. I would like to see the sabres give tanguay a PTO as well.

Tanguay's knees are shot. Rumors about 8 teams showing interest in Fleischmann on a PTO. I would hope we are not one of them. I get the feeling Murray has no interst in PTO's. He needs to sign Risto first and then maybe he'll sign a palyer.

Was actually thinking about this the other day, It's a huge red flag imo. Not for Reinhart but for the team. When the playmaker who is supposed to be the guy having twice or even 3x as many assists as goals is scoring that many goals and not that many assists it's usually indicative of having no finishers on the team.

PTO would be pointless for us Id rather watch someone like Guhle/Nelson/Fasching/Bailey outplay the overpaid vets

Hm thanks for the info on tanguay. Didn't know that at all. I definitely think gmtm is going to address the LW in some way before game 1

It doesn't look like Murray likes PTO's. He didn't do it last year. I'm concerned about rushing some of the kids.
